GK Bistronomie is the sultry creation of Chef Rafael Perez, located in the heart of the Wynwood Arts District. Its modern architecture and artsy interior bring together nautical illustrations, intricate mirrors and vitalizing music over aqua-toned table settings.

This eclectic and sophisticated atmosphere features an open kitchen with a ceviche bar that lets guests peer into the preparation of freshly made ceviches. The bar carries a selection of the finest flavored Peruvian piscos, offering tantalizing Pisco Sours, Chilcanos and an array of gins.

Guests are invited to indulge in an exquisite selection of menu offerings, such as Pisco Cured Salmons with créme fráche, Duck Breast in peppery Aji amarillo, Sous Vide Main Lobster tail sprinkled with mascarpone cheese, and delicate Mushroom and Yuzu ceviche.

Rafael Perez, executive chef at GK Bistronomie, makes a splash in the Miami Wynwood Arts District. He brings an ocean affaire that is designed to take your senses on a voyage from the coastlines of the Pacific to Florida’s Atlantic shore.

Inspired by his grandmother’s cooking, Perez began his culinary career when he was 18 years old in his native country of Perú, where he began experimenting with different textures, aromas and flavors. For the past 20 years, Perez has been perfecting his gastronomic techniques, and his passion and dedication are reflected in his epicurean creations.

Rafael Perez’s culinary talent has been recognized by the world’s most prestigious restaurant and hotel collections and guides. The Relais & Chateaux Guide recognized Zazu, one of Perez’s four Ecuadorian restaurants, as one of the top 300 restaurants in the world, honoring him the title of Grand Chef Relais & Chateaux. Under his tenure, The Little Palm Island Resort and Spa, was voted third best restaurant in the nation and #1 in Florida by Zagat.

His international acumen and culinary passion bring him to the shores of South Florida. “Wynwood Arts district is a trendy place that inspires possibilities and this is what I want to do. I want to fuel inspiration with my creations”.
